Gerald A. (Arnie) Kriner and his wife, Lianne, live in Liberty Township, Tioga County. For the last 31 years, he has been employed by the Pennsylvania General Assembly. For the past 29 years, he has served as an executive assistant to state Sen. Roger A. Madigan and state Sen. Gene Yaw.
Kriner has been a member of Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative since 1996. He has served as the chairman of Tir-County's Elections and Credentials Committee for the past two years. He also serves on the co-op's Member Advisory Committee.
Kriner has served as a member of the board of directors of the Lycoming County Health Improvement Coalition and as chairman of its rural health task force. He currently serves as an advisory board member of the Pennsylvania Rural Leadership Program based at Penn State University.
He was one of the orginal steering committee members of the Tioga County Development Corporation, as well as an original steering committee member of its Adult and Youth Leadership Program.
Kriner also previously served as a co-chairman of the Partners in Progress Capital Campaign.
